Consistent NDIS physiotherapy, built around your goals

An NDIS plan sets out goals. It does not achieve them on its own. When physiotherapy is hard to get to, sessions get missed. When providers rotate clinicians, trust resets and progress stalls.

The right relationship looks different: one team that knows you, a plan built around your goals and daily environment, and clear communication with your support coordinator. That is what Upward is built to provide.

How physiotherapy may support NDIS goals

Who we support

We support adults and teenagers who want to return to activities they love and feel stronger and more confident on their feet. Every programme starts with the participant’s goals, needs and daily environment, not a template.

Mobility and falls

Adults with mobility, strength, balance, coordination, pain or falls-related needs.

Why in-home physiotherapy

Clinic travel is one of the biggest barriers to consistent NDIS physiotherapy. A physio home visit removes that barrier, and it changes what therapy can do. For many participants, home physio is the most practical way to keep treatment consistent.

When we provide physiotherapy home visits, we work on the movements your day actually involves. Your front step. Your bathroom. Your kitchen, your street, your local gym. Treatment becomes practice for real life, not rehearsal in a room you visit once a week.

That is the advantage of in-home physiotherapy. We can make the exercises and goals relevant to the places, routines and activities that matter to you.

For participants who benefit from variety, sessions can also happen at a gym or a hydrotherapy pool when that suits the plan.

NDIS physiotherapy services available

Exercise and rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, falls prevention, neurological rehabilitation, chronic pain management, post-operative rehabilitation, and functional and mobility assessment.

How we handle funding and keep your support team informed

We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants. Service agreements, invoicing and reporting are handled in line with NDIS requirements, and we coordinate with your plan manager to keep administration simple. With your consent, we can share assessment findings, functional goals, treatment recommendations, progress updates and reports for plan reviews with the people supporting you. We agree what is useful at the start, so your team gets what it needs without chasing.
